Hyperbaric Medicine Technician - Wound Care

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or License Practical Nurse (LPN) with current state license in good standing.

• Certification in Hyperbaric Technology preferred or ability to acquire such certification in a reasonable period of time.
• Must have at least one year experience in patient care environment and/or diving/medical hyperbaric experience.
• Working knowledge of various control systems of the chamber or ability to acquire such knowledge in a reasonable period of time.
• Strong computer skills (Database, spreadsheet, appt scheduling and charge entry).
• Current BCLS certification

• Demonstrates a high degree of skill in HBO therapy, chamber operations, basic EKG monitoring, and emergency care, taking initiative and working independently in a fast paced environment preferred
• Maintains the appropriate levels of competence through professional development activities preferred
• Ability to understand and properly apply various emergency procedures outlined in the chamber operation manual to ensure the safety of the patient preferred
• Demonstrates working knowledge of various computer software including word processing and spreadsheet functions
• Population Specific Competency: ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
