Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Project Support: Utilize your technical expertise to provide crucial support to capital projects involving petrochemical units at various stages of execution. Your insights will be instrumental in realizing efficient and sustainable project outcomes.
- Simulation and Modeling Expertise: Harness the power of simulation and modeling to evaluate energy and material balances, utilities, catalyst requirements, effluents, and specifications for refining and petrochemical units.
- Carbon Lifecycle Evaluation: Lead the comprehensive carbon lifecycle evaluation process, from crude distillation to polymerization, identifying opportunities for carbon footprint reduction and driving responsible practices.
- Decarbonization Strategies: Evaluate and deploy emerging carbon capture, sequestration, and utilization technologies, devising strategies to manage ESG aspects within LTC projects.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of current market carbon-related governing regulations, ensuring timely and appropriate implementation to uphold our sustainability commitments.
- Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship: Actively participate in our knowledge sharing network, sharing your expertise with developing specialists and engineers, empowering the next generation of industry leaders.
Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess the following experience and competencies:
- Academic Excellence: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline. A Master's degree is an advantage, reflecting your commitment to continuous learning.
- Decade-Long Experience: Bring a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the petrochemical industry, with at least 5 years in operations and 5 years in an ESG role or similar capacity.

- Effective Communication: Showcase excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and networking skills, facilitating seamless collaboration with internal engineering, R&D, and technical service groups.
