The Portland EnCYCLEpedia a human-powered transportation resource hub is seeking gurus for the 2022 season. Located on Commercial Street in downtown Portland the EnCYCLEpedia is Portland’s resource for biking and walking. Do you love Portland? Love to bike, walk, and explore? Join our staff as a guru helping locals and visitors alike explore Portland. Full and Part-Time positions available.
As a Human Power Guru, you will be responsible for renting bicycles and fitting customers, selling tickets, and helping people discover Portland by sharing biking and walking routes.
Additional duties included flat repair, general cleaning, and maintenance of bikes (we will teach you how to do it) maintaining the cleanliness of the hub and performing general business duties including completing opening and closing duties and handling money.
The ideal candidate possesses the following skills: *A willingness to learn new skills *The ability to work self-sufficiently as well as part of a team *A proven track record of reliability. *Compassion and understanding *Great customer service skills. *A desire to jump in and take initiative *Reliable transportation *Excellent communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
