What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vacation rental position at Summer?
Job Overview : This position is for a part-time host role on Summer’s Operations team. We are looking for a host to own the experience at their selected area of properties, ensuring a 5-star experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Act as the point of contact for select areas of Summer homes
- Adhere to Summer Getaways customer service and hospitality standards
- Inspect and resupply homes once per week
- Collaborate with the Summer to ensure maintenance, hosting, and operations are all working together to accomplish 5-star guest experiences
- Communicate all relevant information to the Customer Experience Team, taking a proactive approach to guest experiences
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Access to a laptop and phone to access the Property Management System (PMS) and relevant Summer software
- Outstanding customer service skills
- 1-2 years of previous hospitality experience preferred
- Professional communication in all written and verbal contexts
- Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
- Highly responsive and reliable
- Strong attention to detail
HOURS : Our seasons ebb and flow, but our Summer high season takes place from April - October. Work is flexible, fast-paced, and on-call work requires you to be available.
Job Types : Part-time, Contract
Pay : From $400.00 per week
Work Location : In person and ability to commute to homes in region on daily / weekly basis
