We are seeking an experienced School Nurse for a position within the Springfield area.
Responsibilities of the School Nurse:
- Provides healthcare to students, managing chronic conditions, administering medications, and conducting health screenings
- Plan, organize, and coordinate health education programs.
- Treat ailments and injuries of students and staff.
- Develop plans for student care based on assessment, interventions, and identification of outcomes, and the evaluation of care
Requirements of the Speech & Language Pathologist:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, in a related field.
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
- A minimum of two full years of employment as a Registered Nurse in a child health, community health, or other relevant clinical nursing setting.
