Job Summary

The Building Systems Project Manager will be responsible for the sales and management of building projects and communicating with customers, estimating team, subcontractors, and project superintendent.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
• Interacts with customers to verify their project wants and needs.
• Providing project details and scope to the estimating team.
• Coordinating subcontractors and crews.
• Finalizing sales.
• Ensuring profitable job completion.
• Responsible for job creation and expansion of the Summit brand.
• Acts as a liaison between company, customer, and vendors.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and be self-motivated.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• 0-2 years of building knowledge, sales knowledge, experience in client relations, drafting, and written communication.
• Proven experience in negotiating, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
• Knowledge of CAD and B2W systems preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
