Summit Dental is seeking a positive, self-motivated, friendly and energetic Hygiene Dental Assistant to join our growing and quality-driven practice in Ruidoso, NM.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assist the hygienist/dentist during a variety of procedures
  • Take digital dental radiographs
  • Take impressions and use an intraoral scanner
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Clean and set up operatories
  • Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other treatment procedures
  • Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
  • Keep accurate and complete patient notes

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Superior verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • At ease with multitasking and team player
  • Quick learner
  • Dentrix experience is preferred but not required
  • Works well with Team

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
