Summary :
The Scale Attendant position is responsible for attending truck scales at an aggregate site. This position performs a variety of operational, recordkeeping and clerical tasks with defined procedures.
All job offers are contingent on pre employment drug screen and background check results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Arrange customer deliveries with specified trucking manager.
- Responsible for maintaining various office / departmental reports and logs as assigned.
- Responsible for keeping the supervisor informed of all incoming trucks and traffic flow.
- Ensures all paperwork (weight tickets, control forms, trucking invoices, and billing of lading) are signed and completed.
- Duties also include the organization of filing and distribution of the paperwork received at the site.
- Collects established fees for cash sales.
- Observes safety rules and attends appropriate training.
- Performs other duties as necessary.
Qualifications :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
To perform this job successfully, the individual is required to be able to accurately type at least 45 wpm. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
