COMPENSATION
Hourly Rate : $23
SUMMARY
Walker Sand & Gravel, a Summit Material company, is looking for Groundman Laborers in our Aggregate division. In this position you will be responsible for supporting production operations by performing work required to maintain consistent operation of plant and equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain good housekeeping practices on plant and equipment using water hoses and shovels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues to ensure minimum cost and prevent operational delays.
- Repair crusher, i.e. liner changes, oil systems, and operations, monitor and change worn parts.
- Operating skid steers.
- Performing basic plant preventative maintenance.
- Cross train with other positions to maximize abilities within
Skills & Experience
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Valid drivers license is required.
- MSHA certification preferred.
- Previous quarry / mining experience preferred.
