About Our Career Opportunity
Summit Medical Group corporate office is seeking an Executive Assistant to assist the VP of Value Based Care. The successful candidate will have working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, Power Point, MS Publisher and Visio preferred. This is a full time opportunity, working M-F primarily 8am-4:30pm.
Responsibilities: (List does not include all duties assigned)
- Performs secretarial duties, including taking dictation, transcribing correspondence and reports, proofreading typed material, and disseminating information to appropriate recipients.
- Monitors the current status of the work for assigned supervisor(s).
- Maintains calendar and arranges meetings and appointments via Microsoft Outlook.
- Makes travel arrangements if necessary.
- Receives and assists visitors, telephone callers, and correspondence via e-mail --responding and prioritizing appropriately.
- Gathers information and formats summaries and reports as requested.
- Attends and coordinates meetings as requested. Transcribes and / or processes minutes as requested. Files minutes appropriately.
- Assists supervisor(s) with various and special projects.
- Adheres to all appropriate aspects of company’s compliance program.
- Maintains strict confidentiality.
- Performs related work as assigned.
- Is personable and exhibits a good customer service attitude with peers as well as others.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, Power Point, MS Publisher and Visio preferred.
- Able to complete tasks independently
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in business related area preferred.
Experience: Prior office experience (including a health care organization, preferred). Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point required with MS Publisher and Visio preferred.
