Summit Diagnostic Center at Fountain City is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join their team. This is a Full time opportunity, working 8:00am-4:30pm.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:  (List does not include all duties assigned)

• Greets patient and provides instructions on procedures. 
• Positions patient and adjusts equipment, selecting length and intensity for radiation exposure on individual basis.  Observes patient for vital signs during procedure.
• Follows safety standards and uses radiation protection when operating radiologic equipment.
• Examines digital images for technical quality and diagnostic acceptability
• Sends images to PACS and set up proper hanging protocols.
• Releases patient upon completion of examination.
• Demonstrates current competencies for job position.
• Maintains strict confidentiality.
• Adheres to all aspects of the corporate compliance plan.
• Performs related tasks as requested by supervisor.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Completed accredited course in radiologic technology or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology. 

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Registered Technologist Radiology & Mammography. Current state permit/license as general diagnostic radiographer.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years experience in radiology imaging modalities; one year of mammography experience preferred.
