SUMMARY:
As the Executive Director (ED), you will oversee the day-to-day operations and provide leadership to all departments of our Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care senior living campus. The ED has overall responsibility in ensuring that our programs run smoothly and efficiently, and that the residents receive the highest level of service and quality care in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, as well as the Company’s policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Executive Director (ED), you will oversee the day-to-day operations and provide leadership to all departments of our Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care senior living campus. The ED has overall responsibility in ensuring that our programs run smoothly and efficiently, and that the residents receive the highest level of service and quality care in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, as well as the Company’s policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Occupancy – Supervise sales team member(s) and participate in leasing units. Strive to maintain budgeted occupancy, with a goal of 100% occupancy with a wait list.
- Marketing – Ensure all marketing goals and plans are on track; meet weekly with the sales team. Promote and market through advertising campaigns and regular and effective outreach to applicable organizations. Regularly review market conditions and competition within the area for trends, standards, activities, and practices; and recommend and take action as appropriate.
- Revenue/Budget Management – Maintain occupancy, revenue, and other expenses and profit margins within the budgeted parameters. Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenues and control costs.
- Staff Management – Provide leadership, set goals and expectations, collaborate with, and manage performance of department managers. Participate in the interviewing, hiring, training, and development of staff. Assure proper staffing coverage for caregivers, maintenance, culinary and housekeeping needs. Oversee the Nursing and Healthcare staff to ensure they develop, implement, evaluate, and revise the service plan to meet the care and service needs of the residents. Oversee and ensure all departments maintain compliance with state regulations.
- Customer Service – Respond to all family inquiries within 24-48 hours, deliver excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors and vendors. Develop and maintain a positive work environment ensuring staff retention and engagement. Demonstrate the mission and values of the organization.
- Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field of study.
- 3 years’ management experience. Preferably within the healthcare industry. Equivalent education/experience combination will be considered.
- Previous Assisted Living (RCAC or CBRF) experience preferred, as is familiarity with State of WI Chapter DHS 83 89 guidelines.
- Strong computer skills and ability to utilize a variety of web based systems.
