Position Summary:
The Information Technology Project Manager position is leadership role that manages tactical technology projects to support strategic objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Creates and manages technology project plans for infrastructure technology and core application teams
- Collaborates with IT Director on technology budget process
- Collaborates with IT Director to develop tactical plans to support strategic plan
- Assists with annual and semi-annual due-diligence of critical technology vendors
- Assists with annual security audits and risk assessments
- Researches and designs new technology architecture based on credit union needs
- Designs technology disaster recovery plan based on the business continuity plan
- Creates and maintains library of technical documentation including enterprise information security policy, standards, and procedures.
- Creates and maintains information security policy, standards and procedures are implemented throughout the credit union.
- Develop an understanding of Credit Union philosophy, organization, bylaws, and operational procedures and comply with the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, AML, OFAC and all other applicable State and Federal Financial Institution Regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent experience.
- One or more of the following technology certifications: MSCA, MSCE, CCNA or Security
- One or more of the following project management certifications: Project , CAPM, or Agile or PRINCE2 Practioner
Required Knowledge:
- Intermediate knowledge of credit union operations and regulations
- Intermediate knowledge of technology needs of financial institutions
- Intermediate knowledge of technology architecture and information security
- Intermediate knowledge of project and change management
Experience Required:
- 5-10 years of increasingly responsible experience in enterprise information technology operations preferably in a financial institution or highly regulated industry
- 5-10 years leading projects and cross-functional teams
Skills/Abilities:
- Highly motivated, self-starter who understands operations and technology best practices, policies, procedures, and processes.
- Enterprise project management experience
- Advanced understanding infrastructure and core application architecture and operations
- Proven experience with secure infrastructure design, software development and technology management best practices.
- Driven to develop and integrate enterprise business processes with technology.
- Strong business acumen and business planning skills
- Vendor management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced meeting facilitation skills
- Strong attention to detail
