FullscopeRMS is seeking a passionate individual who can exercise independent and creative thinking to achieve defined sales and profitability goals to join the Stop Loss Underwriting Team as a Level Funded/Stop Loss Senior Underwriting Consultant. FullscopeRMS provides turnkey risk management services to various clients interested in having their own stop loss product.
How you will contribute:
Evaluate, price and propose rate and strategy Level Funded and Traditional Stop-Loss prospects, including specific and aggregate benefits
Analyze case-level information to properly assess risk and provide client centric solutions
Operate within established underwriting guidelines and profitability targets
Manage the sold case process including review of required sold case paperwork, case contingencies, and final individual risk assessment
Manage assigned workload to meet productivity and time service standards
Demonstrates independent decision making while recognizing and accounting for anticipated consequences
Identify and assess the impact of emerging market conditions
Act as a resource for other underwriters and sales team members
Partner with regional sales team to implement successful strategies for profitable growth
Display teamwork and collaboration with internal and external partners
Supports the identification and development of best practices, workflows and procedures
Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset
What you will bring with you:
Preferred minimum of 5 years of Level Funded / Traditional Stop-Loss underwriting experience, fewer years of experience and/or other medical underwriting experience may be considered
BA/BS degree preferred
ESL/David Young experience preferred
Ability to work with a diverse range of people
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience utilizing predictive modeling risk score tools highly desired
Strong math, communication, negotiation and analytical skills required
Demonstrates multi-tasking ability
Must be detail oriented, well organized and have the ability to manage a high-volume workload with competing demands

Southern region: $79,900 -119,800 annually
Central region: $84,200 - 126,300 annually
Northern region: $90,000 -135,000 annually
If you are a Colorado resident, the salary range for this position is $76,200 - 114,300 annually.
If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $90,000 -135,000 annually.
If you are Washington resident, the salary range for this position is $84,200 - 126,300 annually.
