Job Title:  Vice President, Information Technology

Overview:  The Vice President of Information Technology will report to the CIO of SUN Pharma and the CEOs of SUN Pharma North America and Taro Pharmaceuticals.  

Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will lead the dual organizations in planning and implementing enterprise information systems to support both distributed and centralized clinical and business operations and achieve more effective and cost beneficial enterprise-wide IT operations
• The VP will be a proven technology leader and will possess broad-based, progressive IT leadership experience
• Bring sophisticated management skills in IT planning, organizational design, and governance as well as an in-depth understanding of current technology trends, methodologies, and tools
• Bring substantive experience gained from within a healthcare provider environment
• Must be immediately recognizable as a leader, possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and gain immediate credibility with the senior management team. One should bring implementation, and optimization experience
• Ability to be able to both create an efficient, disciplined environment that is highly responsive and completely aligned to the needs of the business

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field required
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related study preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in management and leadership
• Environment with increasing responsibilities for management and support of healthcare information systems and information technology, direct management of a major IT operation is required
• Minimum of 10 years management experience of staff size of 50 or more FTEs.
