Description
The Sun Valley Night Gondola Operator is responsible for safely loading and unloading guests traveling to the Round House Restaurant at night.
Hours of operation are 4 : 30 p.m. to approximately 11 : 30 p.m. Friday and Saturday evenings, with additional evenings as scheduled.
This position is part-time.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Follow company / department safety policies and procedures
- Work independently or in a small group to accomplish daily job-related tasks
- Completes pre-operational procedures and inspections
- Assist in snow removal, daily set up, and routine maintenance of work areas
- Remain alert for guests improperly loading and unloading the ski lifts
- Assist with completing lift-closing procedures
- Work with all mountain departments respectfully to assist and resolve issues that could arise during the operations
Qualifications :
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Completion of Sun Valley lift department / lift operator training
- Have the ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays
- Able to work through the entire winter season
