What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ticket Sales position at Sun Valley Resort?
As a Sun Valley Resort Ticket Seller, you will sell lift tickets in a friendly manner and assist our guests with all their lift ticket needs. Additionally, it may be necessary to provide our guests with basic knowledge of the resort and the surrounding area.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of all ticket and pass products.
- Customer Service – Greets and assists guests in a friendly, helpful, and respectful manner.
- Teamwork is essential for the success of the guests, the Ticket department and the Resort.
- Excellent communication and “people” skills.
- Handling Money – be able to make correct changes and balance the bank at the end of the day.
- Basic computer skills.
- Understand how to sell tickets using RTP and basic understanding of Customer Managers.
- Additional duties as assigned by the manager.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays at all locations from the beginning to the end of the season.
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk, use hands, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.
- Must safely move objects up to approximately 25 pounds about the workplace.
