What are the responsibilities and job description for the RMA Return Material Auhtorization Clerk position at Sunbelt Furniture Xpress?
SUMMARY
Responsible for administering all parts of the manufacturer RMA process not limited to: updating RMA records for receive, shipping product to manufactures and dealers and transferring product to other warehouses and/or part numbers as needed. Highly motivated individual that is a problem solver and able to multi-task well on a regular basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for accurately documenting all scope of work and ensuring all quantities of RMA products are accounted when processed
Ensures that all RMA processes are administered and enforced for all respective partners and clients
Enter and analyze data to identify trends in RMA and replacement requests if needed
Process, categorize, and answer customer emails and telephone calls, providing high quality service
Independently handle all RMA project related tasks based on priority
Consult with supervisor/manager on issues related to RMA return
Work cohesively with supervisor/manager on projects that provide efficiencies for RMA
Perform all other RMA related duties as assigned
Verbal and written communications with factories, dealers, receivers, customer service, drivers and dispatchers.
Process/ enter return authorizations, maintain RMA log, follow up until closed
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Understanding of time sensitivity and good follow up
Ability to prioritize and problem solve in fast pace environment
QUALIFICATIONS
1 year of office and/or operations experience.
Must have pleasant and professional telephone etiquette.
Must have fast and accurate data entry skills.
Must have strong organizational skills to handle multiple streams of information relating to customer accounts.
Must have high computer literacy to use the PC and Truckmate system.
Must have a good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
Must have above average interpersonal skills to work with co-workers, manufacturers, drivers, and customers.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma/equivalency is preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE
This is a Monday ? Friday 1st shift position. Occasional mandatory overtime and/or weekend work may be required.
