Order Picker (Pipe)

Currently, we are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate Level 1 – Order Picker – Pipe Department to help us keep growing. If you are dedicated and ambitious, Sunbelt is an excellent place to grow your career.

Skills &Requirements:

· Safely perform warehouse functions with the use of Counter Balance Forklifts including the handling of 2,000 lb bundles of pipe and tubing

· Binding of mixed sku bundles and labeling for customer delivery

· Functions may include, but are not limited to picking, packing, replenishing, auditing, shipping, etc

· Product quality inspection and staging

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all policies and procedures

· Understand and demonstrate Sunbelt’s Core Values.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Uses RF gun to interface with inventory/warehouse logistics system to find and select product, printing packing lists, and record the staging location of the products in preparation for loading and shipping

Qualifications:

· Education/Training: High School Education or equivalent preferred

· Related Experience: A minimum of 2 years previous warehousing experience required, previous comparable warehouse experience preferred

· Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Able to read & write legibly

• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

• Good verbal communication skills

• Basic computer skills

· Desire and ability to work independently within a team to accomplish daily goals

Compensation:

· Hourly wage: $18-$21 per hour; commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
