Job Description Summary Traffic Control Technician Are you seeking an entrepreneurial, empowering workplace that allows you to: • Develop a career track • Leverage your current skills while developing new skills • Work with an incredible team of people Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Traffic Control Technician. As a Traffic Control Technician, you will setup, maintain and pick up traffic control devices. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Loads and unloads traffic control equipment for delivery, setup and pick up. • Completes detailed paperwork. • Perform and assist in Flagging Operations, Road Closures, and Lane Closures. • Meets all requirements for safe equipment handling and storage. • Perform other duties assigned as by the manager. QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma or equivalent., preferred • Valid driver’s license. • A.T.S.S.A certification a plus. • 1 year's experience in traffic control. • Well organized. • Use of hand tools. • Forklift operation. • Flexible work schedule. The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
