Sunbelt Rentals-the fastest growing rental business in North America-is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager. As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will manage the relationships between Suppliers and Operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The prime function of the Product Support Market Manager is to manage the relationships between Suppliers and Operations.
- Create the purchasing, training, and product service of Preferred Suppliers
- Identify, research, and evaluate suppliers.
- Create a complete buying program including negotiated prices for whole goods and parts, payment terms, and delivery.
- Create a Product Support Program including warranty terms and reimbursements, product operation and safety documents, and all electronic files pertaining to such areas available.
- Negotiate product and service training to be assisted by the supplier.
- Negotiate marketing assistance offered by the supplier.
- Liaison between operations and the supplier to maintain and evaluate the program.
- Document and maintain files of the programs.
- Organize Supplier participation in Sunbelt Rentals functions including Product Showcase and Management Meetings
- Determine products displayed.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight with Suppliers.
- Coordinate the collection of funds for the events.
- Accurate input and update of the Wynne System
- Maintain current pricing.
- Enter new products.
- Update Supplier Contact information
- Maintain current pricing

QUALIFICATIONS
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a working knowledge and understanding of a wide array of tools and equipment and be able to relate it to the rental process.
- Ability to read and express ideas and information in writing and orally.
- Must be able to respond to common inquiries or complaints and move interaction in the direction desired by the individual.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- The employee may be required to load and transport equipment.
