Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Registered Nursefor a 221 bed. Level II Trauma Center in Independence MO. Candidates must possess advanced assessment and critical thinking skills, ability to managevasoactive drips, Central Line or PICC line placement, Chest tube placements.
Position Qualifications:
- MO or Compact RN License
- BLS, (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- 1 years of relevant experience
Job Specifics:
- Start Date: 8/14 or later
- Shift: Nights
- 8-26 Week Assignment
- Block scheduling
- 36 or 48 hours weekly
Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds: 36
- Patient Ratios: 1:4 PM, 1:5PM (with patient care techs)
- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Typically, total RN based care with no techs unless stretched. Secretaries are scheduled 7am-7pm in the PCU and are available for a number of resources.
- Type of equipment: BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo Feeding Pumps
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Patient Experience requirements: Bedside shift report, hourly rounding, and daily leadership rounds
