Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
Licensing/Certifications: Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If you hold a compact license, an active FL RN license is required within 90 days of hire. Current BLS Certification from the American Red Cross (HCA chosen provider) OR American Heart Association is required. Current ACLS & PALS/ENPC certifications are preferred and must be obtained within 6 months of hire. TNCC and NIHSS certifications are also preferred and required within 6 months of hire. CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training is preferred and required within 6 months of hire. CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification is mandatory within 6 months of new hire or certification eligibility (one year of ER experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of previous experience in an Emergency Department setting preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Proficiency in critical thinking, exceptional service delivery, strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and basic PC skills.
Additional Information:
Shift times: Nights only 7-7
Experience in ER department or ICU preferred; we value your expertise.
SIGN ON bonus available on a case-by-case basis with 1 year acute experience
