Safety Attendant

We are looking to employ a qualified Safety Patrol Officer to monitor our company’s property, employees and visitors.

Supervisory Responsibilities
None.

Duties:

• Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure
• Monitoring front gate access to ensure all employees have their company badges when entering the facility and singing in on the sheet provided
• Monitor both accessible parking gates to ensure no foot traffic is happening and only vehicles are using these access gates
• Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over
• Monitoring surveillance cameras to watch out for any disruptions or unlawful activities
• Must be able to provide detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management
• Testing Security systems if needed
• Other related tasks and duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

• Great communication skills, positive attitude, trustworthy, dependable, accountable for own actions, motivating team members, able to delegate minor tasks, and able to receive constructive criticism
• Must have high attention to detail, great attitude, and dependability
• Must be able to provide minor maintenance and adjustments to the BP deposit machine.
• Must be able to time manage, multitask, organize, attention to details, and interpersonal skills

Education and Experience

• Must be age 21 or over - California residency with Valid ID is required
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Preferred but not required experience in the cannabis industry, in leadership position, production facilities, or restaurants.
• Must have valid California Guard Card

Computer Operations Abilities

• Update Monday.com, Google Sheets, and Telegram channels.
• Basic personal computer skills including email, word processing, etc

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for 8 hours, leaning over and lifting bins
• Must be ok with lifting up to 50lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $19.25 per hour
