Home Care Marketer/Administrator in Training

The position will be responsible for generating new business from your assigned territory. Sales are to be generated from a variety of Sales and Marketing activities, while you will be learning Management skills as well.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow census as set by Executive Leadership.
- Grow new business opportunities as identified by Executive team.
- Learn the Management of a Home Care Organization as an AIT
- Achieve inquiry generation objectives for assigned territory with the primary goal of bringing in new business to increase overall market share. Target accounts include rehabilitation centers, hospitals, assisted living facilities, physicians, senior centers, home health agencies, nursing homes, hospice, and other professional organizations.
- Responsible for identifying and making regular contact with key referral sources in your assigned territory. Performs all phases of the sales process, including documentation of calls, follow-up calls, in person visits, and all other forms of communication.
- Assist with coordination of the referral-to-admission process.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business code of ethics.
- Conduct client/Caregiver introductions as needed
- Uphold the company’s mission statement to serve the community.
- Provide in-services and professional presentations for referral sources, and other target audiences as needed.
Job Requirements:
- A basic understanding of the healthcare continuum of care and trends in the marketplace.
- Two or more years of experience as a marketer within a healthcare environment preferred
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Related business or sales experience
- Possess a valid California driver’s license
Other Skills:
- Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Sunland Home Care
- A minimum of two years of similar work experience in the Home Health or Home Care industry preferred.
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively.
- Ability to work independently and also in a team environment. Maintain client confidentiality and HIPPA compliance. Maintain positive outgoing attitude in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
- Must have the ability to organize and prioritize short term and long term tasks effectively.
- Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with office colleagues, Executive Leadership, and Clients.
- Must present a professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office, HubSpot CRM, and other software.
- Must be able to work evenings or weekends as required.
Compensation: $60k annual salary plus Monthly performance bonus
Potential to Earn $80,000 annually (salary plus bonus)
