Summary:
The Pre Weigh Compounder role will assist the Compounding team in creating batches for Consumable Operations
·Weigh raw materials according to batch sheet
·Check pre-weigh raw materials for batches
·Record/log raw material usage
·Perform appropriate inventory counts as needed
·Keep compounding area clean by wiping up puddles and performing general housekeeping duties within the area based on daily, weekly and monthly cleaning requirements
·Review all batch records and follow specific recipes and processes precisely
·Assure that SOP’s are followed, and production performed in accordance with GMP
·Dress in proper personal protective equipment (hair net, safety glasses, any additional protection needed based on chemicals that are being handled
·Keep weighing equipment clean and follow production quality policies of the department as detailed in SOP’s
·Always observe company’s safety procedures and policy
·Other job responsibilities as assigned.
Skills/Characteristics Needed for Success:
·Read and comprehend production instructions, and basic chemical and hazard information
·Demonstrate basic math and measurement skills to ensure that ratios of material are consistent (kilograms to grams, pounds to kilograms, etc.)
·Tow motor experience as well as proper safety of tow motor operations
·Able to participate in a team-oriented, willingness to assist and train others
·Able to work individually with minimal supervision
· Ability to work overtime based on company needs
Physical Requirements:
·Must be able to position self to kneel, stoop, bend, reach, move up to 60lbs at times.
·Moving can be continuous at times up to 40 minutes.
·Ability to roll drums on and off pallets with weight frequently between 200-600 pounds.
