JOB RESPONSIBILITES (Depending on Level of Experience)
Service Tech I
Resolve any technical and/or customer service related issues
Perform site evaluations - take photos, examine roof condition, measure roof, conduct shading study
Replace and repair roofing tiles, flashing and sealing of roof penetrations
Report findings and service call details with Service Manager
Upload and document findings to Salesforce or other like systems
Work with homeowners, city inspectors and other vendors
Other service related items not described above
Service Tech II
Service Tech I and:
Commission and repair downed PV systems
Trouble shoot solar system errors, inverters, correct installation/material defects
Service Tech III
Service Tech II and:
Install breakers and work in the Main Electrical Panel and subpanels
Troubleshoot LG and Tesla battery storage systems
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
1-2 years experience in solar or general construction experience preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record (MVR)
Strong time management skills required
Ability to work independently with minimal instruction/direction
Comfortable working with a variety of technologies
Must be highly organized and punctual
Strong commitment to a successful customer experience
Willingness to find answers to field issues and communicate them effectively
Ability to work at heights, outdoors and in varying weather conditions including extreme heat
Must be able to do the following: Walking, climbing and lifting
