Content Creator

As a key member of the marketing team, the Content Creator will collaborate to create fun, engaging, and inspiring visual content to help share Sunny’s mission through social media marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong editorial background with a proven track record of developing and leveraging targeted content to drive engagement and awareness of company products, services, and overall brand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create compelling, high-quality, and scalable content that is engaging, visually cohesive, and industry-specific.
• Collaborate with other creators on tracking trends, storyboarding, filming, and editing videos.
• Build and expand existing following with new content.
• Remain up to date with social trends and provide recommendations for marketing campaigns.
• Work closely with the creative and production teams to strategize ideas for marketing materials and programs; guide the team on video/photography content production.
• Develop and implement brand strategies for new and existing products.
• Assist team with creative projects, photoshoots, short/long videos for social media, and other photography/video editing projects.

Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communication, or equivalent experience preferred
• 5 years experience in web/digital media, social media, and brand awareness campaigns
• Prior experience using Adobe porducts such as Premiere pro and Photoshop.
• Proven experience as a strategic creative, well-versed in digital and traditional marketing, social media, advertising, and long & short-form content
• Passionate about writing with the ability to create blog posts, DIY threads, articles, publications, and videos with examples.
• Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, with a highly collaborative work style
• Ability to create and meet deadlines while prioritizing in a multi-tasking environment
• Strong project management skills and ability to seamlessly manage design processes
• Advanced knowledge of content marketing methodology and demonstrated knowledge of effective engagement processes and tools to drive audiences to act
• Strong understanding and demonstrated skill crafting technology narratives and messaging

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
