What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gas Station Cashier position at Sunoco?
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all gas station customers
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
- Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with fueling their vehicles
- Perform regular inspections of the gas station premises to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Stock and organize merchandise in the convenience store area
- Maintain inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Upsell products and promotions to customers
- Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries or concerns
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- Bilingual skills, including fluency in English and Spanish, are preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience in upselling products or services is a plus
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling customer inquiries over the phone
- Organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Knowledge of wireless sales or experience in a similar retail environment is beneficial
