Job Summary:SunOpta, a leading company specializing in the sourcing, processing, and production of organic, natural, and non-GMO plant- and fruit-based food and beverage product, is looking for a self-motivated and independent Marketing Analyst who is responsible for supporting SunOpta’s Fruit-based Food and Beverage marketing team in its mission to profitably grow the business. In addition, the Marketing Analyst will serve as liaison for the team across multiple functions including Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Quality, etc. Essential Functions of the Job:Marketing and Business Analytics:Develop and refresh monthly reports from syndicated data sources. Draw data driven insights on category trends to communicate with internal leadership and customers.Support category management analysis ahead of customer line reviews and innovation presentations to find assortment opportunities.Develop customer and executive-ready presentations that tell the story behind the data.Develop reports and dashboards to track new product performance.Provide business analysis to improve revenue forecasts.Support customer bid processes by driving timelines and working with cross functional teams to gather needed inputs to submit with bids.Miscellaneous data analysis to support fruit leadership team strategic decisions.Support innovation process and early stage business development projects through product commercialization.Maintain database of fruit marketing projects including briefs and provide monthly reporting on project metrics to fruit leadership team.Support commercialization manager on project transitions and occasional maintenance projects execution.Other projects and duties as assigned. Expert knowledge of Excel including Pivot tables, Lookup, and other data management functions. Advanced skills with both PowerPoint and Word.Experience working in ERP systems, Nielsen, and/or Interspec a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to present, train, influence, and negotiate. Requires ability to roll-up your sleeves and operate in a fast-paced, high-demand, entrepreneurial environment. Travel Requirements: Travel up to 10%.
