Summary of Role:
This position is responsible for the direct management, tracking, oversight, and on-schedule, on-budget delivery of multiple concurrent residential PV projects to ensure 100% internal and external customer satisfaction. This position maintains liaison with customers and subcontractors, and monitors construction and financial activities by advising and providing visibility to the ROM and direction to the Site Surveyors, Project Engineers, Supply Chain, Electricians and Installation personnel.
\n- Be able to effectively and succinctly communicate with customers and subcontractors
- Responsible for insuring 100% customer satisfaction on the assigned project
- Responsible for managing budget and schedule goals of the assigned project, from project inception through project closeout
- Performs risk-analysis /forecasting for projects in order to minimize negative impact on company
- Leverages knowledge of system delivery milestones to capture reduced costs wherever possible
- Responsible for effective oversight, negotiations, and management of multiple subcontractors
- Other duties may be assigned
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and driving screen
- Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
- High School or Trade School degree in a discipline related to construction or building sciences
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (50 lbs. or more) in addition to climbing ladders and working in high places
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel between job sites
- Strong familiarity with construction and electrical codes
- Proven ability to successfully procure, monitor, and assess subcontracted construction functions such as electrical contractors and commercial roofers
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Project
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Strong understanding of NEC codes with emphasis on residential PV installations
- Bachelor’s degree or 5-8 years of site project management experience
- Strong technical, supervisory, and project management skills based on industry experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization, as well as outside customers and vendors
- Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus
- Organizational skills needed to manage time, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
- General Contractors license is a plus
Pay Range
$69,696 - $104,544*
