Summary of Role: The position manages team members within the company's financial analysis area. Provides members of management (CTO, VP of digital) with financial information or projections. Evaluates current and proposed financial plans and policies including one or more of the following activities: company planning, divisional planning, profitability analysis, cost analysis or management services, and recommend changes that will accrue to the organization's profitability. Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control, providing relevant fiscal information to the executive management team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Incorporating key priorities for both the business unit or function represented and the total Company. Will manage a team of analysts Works collaboratively with and often leads cross-functional teams to coordinate and provide guidance on strategic plans, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and accounting policies Ensures effective communication and timely resolution of conflicts Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the immediate team of direct reports promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results Supports the implementation of projects/programs to ensure the success of the Company Pushes the organization forward and leads changes and improvements Drives a functions long-range financial and business plan Oversees and influences comprehensive analysis required to support investment decisions for business programs and products including measurement against key financial metrics and targets Plans and manages business unit and department processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives Prepares, communicates, and educates client groups and team on changes in policies and practices within the organization Establish and communicate the vision for investment prioritization throughout the organization; work with the stakeholders to plan and execute short-term and long-term investment/operational improvement goals Train and mentor business process owners in forecasting, accruals on spend in Opex and COGS OH Assist in developing a cost reduction roadmap using efficiency, automation and driving lean operation philosophy throughout the organization; improve the communication by incorporating management dashboards and monthly deep-dive reviews Collaborate with managers of all functions to manage the annual operating budget for the OPEX group, including productivity savings and capital expenditures Identify and facilitate projects and meetings to drive desired outcomes; lead opex meetings and ensure an open flow of communication and information across the organization Team up with stakeholders to understand how investments in equipment, processes, or technologies will drive top and bottom-line growth Directs activity across large multi-functional area(s) Significantly impacts business results Advises senior management on overall policy and long-term goal development Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree 3 or more years of people management experience OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree Experience in Energy/Utilities and Corporate/G&A Budget management Dont meet every single requirement?
