POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for conducting and coordinating the ongoing assessment of Sunrise Banks’ third parties and business partners in relation to the Bank’s control environment. This primarily includes performing strategic, reputational, and operational risk assessments of third-party relationships. This position will also assist in assessing and reporting on the effectiveness of controls and residual risk throughout the organization. Local candidates only.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Collaborate with relationship managers and other operating areas (e.g., BSA, Compliance, Credit) to develop a comprehensive understanding of third-party relationships and their associated risks.
- Organize, prioritize, and compile due diligence reviews on third parties, under agreed-upon time limits.
- Evaluate information to develop written analysis that supports risk ratings of third parties.
- Provide guidance on third party risk to stakeholders and business lines.
- Contribute and participate in applicable management meetings relative to third party risks.
- Assist in the assessing of the effectiveness of third-party controls throughout the organization.
- Assist in documenting and reporting on key third-party risk and performance indicators.
- Participate in professional business and community activities, organizations and events as required.
- Assist in the assessing of the effectiveness of internal controls when applicable
- Complete special projects and provide reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional, business line, or enterprise level.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school degree or GED Required
- College degree in business- or technology-related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Experience with security documentation such as PCI AoC and SOC Reports.
- Prior experience in third party/vendor management experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of banking regulations such as OCC Bulletin 2013-29 preferred.
- Superior skill set in the use Microsoft Office products.
- Working knowledge of general information security and business continuity controls preferred.
