Position Summary:
The Engagement Specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day resident dashboard and engaging residents to solve issues, provide exceptional customer experiences, and renew leases for their assigned properties., ensuring the optimal performance of each property. The Engagement Specialist will be responsible for managing in-person leasing tours where applicable and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Engagement Specialist will also be responsible for collection of rents and expense management.

The Engagement Specialist's work involves:
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. AppFolio or other property management software experience preferred.
Planning/Organizing:
Ability to prioritize tasks.
