Sunrise Engineering is currently initiating a search for a full-timeConstruction Observer to support our growing organization.ThisFull Timeposition is based in ourLogan, Utahoffice during our business hours,Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

A Day in the Life 

As a Construction Observer at Sunrise Engineering, each day unfolds with a sense of purpose and excitement. Collaborating with a dynamic team, you embark on a journey to create innovative solutions for community engineering projects. 

Your day-to-day activities may include: 

• Perform construction observation and oversight to document that construction of projects in done according to plan and specifications. 

• Meet with job site superintendent on scheduling and quality issues regularly 

• Keep daily journals of activities on the construction site. 

• Review and report any issues being observed, while maintaining good records at the site. 

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. 

• Communicate issues with the engineer and the owner of the project 

• Create and submit change orders

Qualifications for success include: 

• Candidates must be knowledgeable and experienced in reading and understanding plans and specifications. 

• Successful candidates should have 5 years of experience performing civil construction observation. Projects will be general civil infrastructure projects including land development, water and wastewater, pipelines, drainage and roadway infrastructure.
