Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Environmental Services Aide/Housekeeper under general supervision and per established policies and procedures, you will clean, sanitize, organize and service the facility building areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the Hospital. Our team is amazing; we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other, and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. • You will clean patient rooms and common areas, including isolation, discharge, and daily cleans
• You will provide floor care, including cleaning, buffing, stripping, and re-coating
• You will empty trash (both general and bio-hazardous), handling and transporting it
• You will be cleaning entrances, including inside window cleaning

What qualifications you will need:

• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
• Six (6) months-housekeeping experience in a health-related facility is preferred
• Have the ability to demonstrate well to exceptional customer service by engaging and interacting with the facility, staff, patients, and visitors as outlined in the Sunrise PRIDE Standards
• The ability to read, speak and comprehend English at a level that allows safe, efficient job performance
