Community Outreach and Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Outreach Specialist to join our team. As an Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to engage with the community and promote our organization's mission. Duties:

- Develop and execute outreach plans to increase awareness of our organization's programs and services

- Utilize social media platforms to create engaging content and manage online presence

- Deliver presentations and public speaking engagements to educate the community about our initiatives

- Collaborate with volunteers to coordinate outreach events and activities

- Manage projects related to community engagement, including organizing fundraisers and campaigns

- Collect data and analyze metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts

- Build relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and organizations to expand our network

- Recruit volunteers and provide training on outreach strategies

- Educate individuals about available resources and support services

Experience:

- Previous experience in social media management, public speaking, or volunteer management is preferred

- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting

- Familiarity with fundraising techniques and strategies

- Knowledge of social work principles and practices is a plus

- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and information to diverse audiences
