Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project:
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Focus Category FP&A team supporting the Global Marketplaces team.
Based in San Jose, CA, this role will support financial planning, forecasting and reporting standards for US Focus Category teams.
This assignment will support the below processes:
Support operating cadences for the Home, Hard Goods & Collectibles (HHC) and Fashion focus categories
Execute on financial standards supporting the Focus Categories: budget and forecast tracking, accrual tracking and PO support, headcount reporting and tracking, T&E reporting
Active member of the weekly cross-functional team that reviews focus category expense allocations
Support Finance Managers with creation of monthly FC P&Ls
Perform necessary processes to support monthly close and forecast through use of SAP, BPC and EPM tools
Maintain the Focus Category wiki page to keep up to date with evolving support documentation
Work with Automation team as necessary to ensure P&L generation is accurate and scalable globally
Key skills: Analytical, keen sense of accountability, attention to detail, self-starting
Analytical – not just take numbers at face value, someone who can look deeper and connect the dots with the business
