We are looking for a talented and competitive Business Development Representative (BDR) that thrives in a high-velocity sales environment.
The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
You must be comfortable making 20-30 calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
As a team member you will be responsible for generating and qualifying interest in various client's solutions through intelligent conversation with current and potential customers.
Your success will be driven by your ability to multi-task, remain extremely organized and be able to establish frontline relationships with contacts, and work effectively with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) as well as marketing staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Uncover and fully understand customer needs and requirements.
- Qualify enterprise leads assigned via multiple channels using a disciplined, rigorous approach that encourages maximum acceptance (i.
e., SQL conversion) by RSMs.
- Where necessary, research accounts (using ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator and other tools) to identify key players and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Qualify selected leads generated by partners prior to routing to RSMs.
- Deliver initial, scripted sales pitch designed to qualify the opportunity and dramatically differentiate Activu as a company and technology within 10-15 minutes.
- Maintain good CRM (Salesforce.com) hygiene updating prospect pipeline data in a timely and disciplined manner.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2-4 years inside sales experience in the enterprise technology space AV, command and control center experience is a plus.
- Proven track record of over-achieving quota.
- Strong team attitude with willingness and ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
- Polished phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
- Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools as well as Sales Force CRM is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Superior listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- BA / BS degree or equivalent.
