Inpatient Therapist - Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Full Time Day

Sunrise Vista Health and Wellness, a brand new, state of the art behavioral health hospital in the Canton, OH area, is currently recruiting for an Inpatient Therapist to join our team. Minimum of LSW or LPCC licensure required.

The Focus of the position will be mostly psychosocial assessments and groups. Discharge planning may also be required. We are looking for an optimistic person who is able to work well under stressful circumstances. The position involves work on both adult and geriatric units. Masters degree in Social Work or related field preferred but not required. Inpatient behavioral health experience preferred but not required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Successful candidate will have:

• Must be, at a minimum, a Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of Ohio.
• A Master's Degree in Social Work or in a related Human Services field preferred, but not required.
• Inpatient behavioral health experience preferred but not required.
• Optimistic person who works well under stress.
• Must be a motivated team player. Must be able to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors and government agencies.
• Must possess basic computer literacy skills.
• Must be knowledgeable of social services practices and procedures.
• Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• If recovering, at least 2 years of unbroken sobriety (alcohol and drugs).
