As a Food Runner, you are an integral part of our restaurant's success, responsible for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for our valued guests. Your role involves much more than delivering food; you are a pivotal link between our talented kitchen staff and the attentive service provided by our wait staff. With a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication skills, and a strong sense of teamwork, you contribute significantly to the overall guest satisfaction.
Your Duties as a Runner include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:

Expedite Food Orders:
- Efficiently deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring all dishes are promptly and accurately served.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to prioritize orders and meet special requests, such as dietary restrictions or allergies.

Table Setting Assistance:
- Assist wait staff in the setup of dining tables, ensuring they are impeccably arranged with the appropriate tableware, utensils, and napkins.
- Ensure the dining area's ambiance is inviting and ready for guests.

Safety and Food Quality Assurance:
- Guarantee that all food is served in compliance with safety standards, including appropriate temperature and presentation.
- Conduct visual checks on dishes before delivery to ensure they meet quality standards.

Guest Interaction:
- Interact with guests during their dining experience, offering additional assistance, answering questions, and providing recommendations to enhance their meal.
- Act as a point of contact for guests, addressing inquiries and requests professionally and courteously.

Dish and Utensil Management:
- Efficiently clear tables of used dishes, utensils, and any debris, ensuring tables are promptly reset for incoming guests.
- Transport used items to the dishwashing area for cleaning and sanitation.

Menu Knowledge:
- Familiarize yourself with the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods to confidently respond to guests' inquiries and provide information.
- Assist guests with menu choices, ensuring they are well-informed about their options.

Guest Feedback and Requests:
- Actively listen to guest feedback, concerns, or special requests and relay them to the appropriate staff or manager.
- Assist guests in simple requests such as refilling water or providing the check.
