Body Shop Paint Tech Apprentice-Prepper needed to join our team at Sunset Cadillac of Venice's elite Collision Center.

This is a great opportunity for a current paint prepper who wants the opportunity to move up in your career as an automotive painter. Paint/prep skills and experience required. We need someone who can hit the ground running. Schooling and/or certifications preferred.
Painter Apprentice - Prepper Duties
Assist in the completion of the refinish process on a repaired vehicle, which could include:
- Masking, sanding, applying undercoats, mid-coats and top coats.
- Use power tools, paint mixers, paint, cleaning solvents, and waxes as needed.
- Disassembly and reassembly of body panels, bumpers, trim, etc.
- All work completed per estimate and according to manufacturer's standards.
Painter Apprentice - Prepper Requirements
- Successful Candidate must be career minded, able to take direction and work independently to produce top quality results, take pride in your work, and have a great attitude.
- Collision center experience as a paint prepper or junior painter is required.
- Must have ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Must have a valid driver's license and verifiable work history. Drug-free workplace.
