Our new property assistant will report to the Broker and Operations Manager. Your main duties will be to help with administrative tasks as well as create/maintain/show rental listings within Central San Diego. You will provide day-to-day support for our managed residential properties while assisting with all aspects of real estate admin day-to-day operations, tenant management, maintenance requests, and more. You will work with a variety of vendors, resources, and internal partners to accomplish necessary goals for the clients, tenants, and company.
Specific job duties include:
- Assists the real estate team with day-to-day operations and management of all real estate investments.
- Work directly with property tenants and owners regarding building upkeep and maintenance.
- Support all facets of rental relationship ensuring tenant satisfaction and lease obligations for residential tenants.
- Responsible for the coordination in obtaining and maintaining all documents related to leasing operations including, but not limited to lease, rent collection, tenant communication, etc.
- Create, maintain, and show rental listings.
- Light bookkeeping to include rent collection and invoicing as needed.
- Management and upkeep of all property management documentation including vendor records, maintenance records, etc.
Sunset Property Management & Realty is a small core group office that strives for excellence in all the things our team accomplishes.
Qualified candidates must have 5 years of Real Estate (CA) licensed experience, and an interest in property management. We would anticipate familiarity with the use of Google products, QuickBooks, and intermediate level with Microsoft Office. Also, knowledge of property management software such as Buildium is helpful as well.
Candidates must be able to travel independently throughout the San Diego area from properties we manage to our office with a currently insured vehicle.
Job Type: 1099 (Independent Contractor) - Base Pay: $22.50 hourly
