Sunshine Behavioral Health is looking for a talented Business Development - Behavioral Health Representative to join our motivated team. We offer Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and other worksite benefits, and a salary of 70-80k! This position is remote with some travel. Must be located in St Louis area.
Bonus Opportunity: $4,500.00 annualized
In addition to the base pay regular earnings, employees will have the opportunity to earn additional compensation in the form of a target flat rate bonus to be paid quarterly based on Company and program-specific performance achievement.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Outreach Representative will be highly motivated and forward-thinking in order to help our business development department. The Clinical Outreach Representative will support and guide internal and external relationships. This professional must be a strategic and critical thinker with a proven record of success in expanding company objectives and exceeding business goals.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a growth strategy focused on creating and maintaining accounts
- Conduct research to identify new markets and client needs
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
- Contact potential accounts to establish rapport and arrange meetings
- Finding and developing new markets and increasing client acquisition
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing accounts
- Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure proper branding
- Establish rapport with inbound referrals and assist admissions with outside referrals
- Maintain working knowledge of all federal and state regulations and requirements
- Follow and analyze industry trends
- Evaluate goals on a monthly basis
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge: The incumbent will have
1. Possess experience and education in chemical and alcohol dependency and abuse
2. Possess strong working experience in business development, sales, or another relevant role
3. Proven sales track record
4. Proven communication and the ability to build rapport and negotiation skills
5. Extensive knowledge of Salesforce software
6. Some knowledge of commercial insurance
QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERENCES:
1. 2-3 years of experience in healthcare or behavioral health role required
2. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
3. Past experience working on a Business Development Team
5. Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
6. Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
