GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Quality Assurance Technician inspects Sunshine Minting products to ensure conformance to internal and external customer requirements through measurement, visual inspection, and documentation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Some College is preferred
· Minimum of one year of related work experience in a lab environment is preferred
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Must be reliable, dependable, and trustworthy
· Able to meet physical requirements of job
· Able to use hands, fingers, and eyes effectively
· Able to work weekends, rotating schedules and overtime as needed

· Able to properly use various testing instruments

· Must be bondable.

The employee is continuously required to use hands and arms to reach, finger, handle, or feel objects and controls. The employee is regularly required to walk, talk, and hear. The employee must regularly lift up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIROMENT:
The work environment is clean with moderate to hot temperature and moderate noise level, eye and hearing protection is required while working on the manufacturing floor. Exam gloves must be worn and changed frequently throughout the day while working with products.
