Director of Planning and Analysis

This role reports to Chief Financial Officer with a strong dotted line to the Vice President of Manufacturing. The success of this position is proactive planning and communicating of financial information and manufacturing indicators. This role is foundational with a potential transition into the Chief Financial Officer.

  1. Build a planning and analysis team
  2. Manage quarterly and annual Planning and budget meetings
  3. Develop presentations for the board summarizing company results and forecasts
  4. Conduct monthly review meetings with department heads
  5. Determine cash flow, NPV, IRR and payback period for capital investments
  6. Assist with monthly COGS and balance sheet variance analysis
  7. Provide Annual inventory reports for tax purposes
  8. Responsible for managing the transition to SAP/Hana for the planning group
  9. Manage the Planning and Analysis and Manufacturing Analysis groups.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge/Skills: 

  • Planning system experience with sophisticated ERP systems such as Adaptive Insights,  Microsoft Dynamics, or SAP
  • Heavy business intelligence experience
  • Sophisticated excel user

Education/Experience:

  • MBA, CPA or CMA
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in manufacturing or agricultural environment
  • Consulting or investment banking experience preferred

Physical/Safety Requirements: 

  • Tolerate extended periods of sitting at desk.
  • Ambient noise is louder than a traditional office setting.
