SUMMARY 

Reporting and categorizing of the Bank’s loan portfolio data. Preparing a variety of excel reports for Credit Administration to analyze the loan portfolio, including outstandings, unfunded commitments, maturities, and performance. Review financial documents for accuracy of coding, policy exception reporting and cash flow analysis. At times will be required to spread and analyze both business and personal financial information and determine credit worthiness of the Borrower.  


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Downloading loan data from the Bank’s core system to prepare requested spread sheets analyzing different loan classifications. This will include loan types categorized by outstandings, unfunded commitments, maturities and loan performance. 
  • Providing the second review for all loan declines/withdraws to document compliance with Reg B through Sales Force. 
  • Running the Appraisal Management through Sales Force which will include verifying all necessary documentation is received, approving the order of the appraisal and uploading the final document once completed.  
  • Preparing quarterly reports presented to the Board. 
  • Must be able to prepare accurate financial statement spreadsheets and debt service analysis derived from business and personal financial statements and tax returns.
  • Will assist and have a strong working knowledge of CASH suite loan processing software under the supervision of the Credit Administration team. 
  • Reviewing credit authorizations and loan reviews for financial and covenant accuracy. 
  • Reviews loan agreement covenants for verification of the borrower’s compliance thereto.
  • Reviews documentation to ensure compliance with Bank policy and procedures.
  • Reviewing and approving annual loan reviews. 

 

SECONDARY COVERAGE– DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES 

  • Daily recording loan approvals and tracking policy exceptions. 
  • Monthly asset quality and concentration reports with bi-monthly CCO report preparation. 
  • Monitoring monthly risk grade changes and updating annual report. 
  • Monitoring annual reviews for all loans, which will include sending notices to the relationship managers for reviews due, follow up, and collection of reviews. 
  • Monitoring loan maturities 90 days out. This includes sending notices to the relationship manager, getting bi-weekly to weekly updates on status, and checking to ensure that the loan has been renewed/ extended on the Bank’s core system. This will be reported to Credit Administration on a monthly basis. 
  • Tickler monitoring done through CASH. This will include verifying newly funded and loan modifications have all require ticklers inputted, verifying ticklers are updated on a monthly basis for loans that are inputted in CASH and sending out notice to the relationship managers for delinquent ticklers due.

  • Attends training and maintains a basic knowledge of procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing financial institutions, as they apply to your position and job responsibilities, with an emphasis on the BSA/AML/CIP, Consumer Privacy, Regulation CC, Information Security, Bank Protection Act, FACT-Identity Theft, Information Technology and GLBA.
  • Additional duties as assigned as it relates to the position


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong, intermediate knowledge of accounting principles, tax return analysis and analytical interpretation of balance sheet and income statement analysis and cash flow.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of credit analysis 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of loan documentation.
  • Must be highly organized and be able to handle a strong volume of workflow from various sources.
  • A college degree is desired.
