What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychologist - SUNY Oneonta position at SUNY Oneonta?
Duties include but not limited to: providing assessment and short-term treatment or referral for students of the College, providing group therapy; providing individual and group supervision as well as didactic training to the doctoral interns; and developing and facilitating outreach programming.
Job Requirements:
Required qualifications: Doctoral degree in counseling or clinical psychology; licensure as psychologist in NY, or license-eligible; and at least 1-year of full time mental health counseling experience (a full-time doctoral internship would meet this qualification).
Preferred: clinical experience providing short-term mental health treatment or referral for clients; work experience in a higher education setting, especially mental health counseling; experience facilitating group therapy; experience providing clinical supervision; experience with developing and presenting prevention outreach programming; experience working with and serving diverse populations.
