SUNY seeks a dedicated, creative professional, equally interested in big picture and key detail, and one who thrives in a team-based environment. The successful candidate will have relevant experience and a continuing commitment to further their knowledge base. Responsibilities will include assisting in developing aspects of the Institute, focusing on practice of Title IX investigations and adjudications and/or academic and non-academic conduct investigations and adjudications, developing, creating, and delivering innovative live and digital training with a focus on the practitioner experience, assisting in expanding and developing new obligations and opportunities of the SCI and assist in related projects and programs that advance the general mission of the SCI.
The Assistant Director of Student Conduct Practice is responsible for oversight of the training of over 550 member campuses within the SCI. This position will design and deliver training to the membership with a focus on engagement and learner outcomes. They will also coordinate content experts from outside of the SCI to bring diverse perspectives to the training content, allowing members to hear from a variety of opinions and experiences. The assistant director will seek opportunities to gather data to assist in decision-making for future training and development opportunities. The incumbent will be highly skilled in presentation development, engaging large groups at a distance, and cultivating relationships with external subject matter experts and stakeholders. As a member of the SCI leadership team, the assistant director will assist the director in strategic planning.

Salary is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, training, and certifications. The range for this position is $75,000-$95,000.
