Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and building systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed
- Supervise and coordinate outside contractors when necessary
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and inventory
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong leadership abilities
